fallen angels

Clipped wings they fell
Grace abandoned them,
Light their only hope now
to follow their own hearts,
Edge towards her beacon
Sit on a rocky outcrop
and dry their crooked fate.

Glance across the valley
sighting each the other,
Sit there high up, alone
the turmoil left below,
Calling across the stones
'I am here for you, take me'
In unison, echoing...

At first they were struck
by the rock, aloneness
She continued her gaze,
while his fell to his feet
soreness, outreached arm
'I will come, love is my heart'
Neck hairs rise to her call.

His eyes raised, stands tall
perched high above, looking
Across the valley she stands,
distance reduced in the mist
that descended in the night,
the sun now cutting bathes
folded wings, drying skin.

'I will come, love is my heart'
echoes 'round the mountain,
enrapt in threads of love
their silken wings now dry,
'Come my love, to paradise'
he called back to her
climbing across to him.

the entwining

For so long I sat in waiting
knowing that you'd come
with eyes that would see me
seeing you, in touching embrace
feel you touching up against,
my skin shivering, you far away.

A plane comes into land
One day uniting me, you
run fingers along, a shoulder
we'll kiss, a warm wind blows
stars around, dusting the sky
my head will rest, your cheek
will kiss my forehead gently.

Lines interweave the sky
as jet engines burble, silence
returns to you sitting there
quietly, I can see you seeing
what already 's been seen to,
you are looking at me.

I approach a gentle touch
raising skin in anticipation
on my arm reaching to touch
your slender arms that hold
drawing me closer, me head
rests, breasts soft as snow.

Entwined in words, faith
the thread that binds, love
the glue, paradise awaits
those who seek her, hearts
open to touch, the world
between us for the taking.

a beginning

a tide wells as your eyes look at me
looking at you, drawn to your touch
tender fingers brush back golden hair,
beyond your eyes that ask me to enter.
hands clasped in front, you look gazing
across the horizon, watching you seeing
me smell you smelling me from afar, lost
words only that skim the surface, hearts
pound as hair touches hair, your lips
quiver steadily showing teeth, a tongue
bites a lip as you look down...

I want to leave you alone there in peace
pondering imponderables, words inscribe
you with love, a face that hides deepness
an angel on the wall peers down on you
sitting still your arm touches me touching
the hairs follicled on your forearm, touch
against your cheek resting against mine,
hands clasp necks, gently running hands
holding my neck softly,  kissing an ear
spirited words hearten our breathing
lighting the space between our souls...
